The streets have been yearning for new music, more music all year.
And truth be told, some good guys have pulled up to fill the holes left by the absence of the top dawgs this year.
Two of those guys would be Davolee and Zlatan Ibile, the former with his debut and the latter with his long-awaited sophomore.
The two guys are in different stages of their careers. Zlatan is having a good run, while Davolee is just recovering from a tumultuous era that almost destroyed him. Of course, their albums would be different.
But the thing about them is, they’re both street guys. Their music is the kind of stuff that appeals to the streets.
Davolee’s “Earning Wish” has received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its diversity in sound.
Meanwhile, Zlatan‘s “Resan” has been praised for its originality and so far, it’s been a critical and commercial success.
But which of these albums trumps the other? Is it the raw Davolee on “Earning Wish” or the refined Zlatan on “Resan”?
Let’s hear what you think.
